More Houses!

I'm gonna look at another house in the same neighborhood as the other house we're looking at. It's just been listed, and if we can buy it quickly, we may be able to get the seller to make some big concessions for us, just to get it off their hands! Can't wait to see it!

Thanks. Just got back. It was the really cute house next door that I also wanted to see (who knew?). It was a 2 story, and really cute downstairs, but the upstairs bedrooms were so tiny, there was no way we would be able to get our furniture in the master bedroom. :( And I hated the yard. It was all wooded, and no fence. We're going to put an offer on the other house. We don't know if they'll take it, because we are offering them much less than the asking price, and we're asking for a lot of concessions. I guess we'll see what happens.

alot of times you can get more concessions and stuff with houses that have been on the market awhile. people get desperate. i hope you get it! your first house, hooray!

Getting a house is such a pain in the butt I can't believe people do things like buy "starter houses". In fact, I can't believe people don't trench into the same house for like 3-4 generations. Like a castle fortress or something.

Yeah, the problem is that castle fortresses are so darn expensive these days! And what if your future daughter-in-law doesn't like the colors? You'd have some serious problems on your hands down the road.
