More House News
So we got a counter offer on the house today. It's not a bad offer, but it will extend the amount of money we have to come up with out of pocket to $4,000. We just can't swing that much. :( So we're going to have to look for something else. Too bad, I had serious plans for the trey ceilings in the master bedroom. I guess God has other plans for my family. Maybe he has a 5 bedroom house in great condition in a fantastic neighborhood out there for $80,000 just waiting for us! :)

Great attitude! He does have a plan. (Jeremiah 29:11 which reads better in NIV than KJV but either way it's good :)

Yeah, we found the perfect house and put an offer on it, and my real estate agent just called me and told me that they accepted another offer on it today. Durn, durn durn! I REALLY wanted this one! It was perfect! All it needed was a coat of paint, and it had plenty of room for guests and a tree swing out back! *wah* I just want to cry. :(
maybe that deal will fall through. there are a lot of idiots that put bids on houses before they are approved for a loan. i'll toss a couple of prayers up!

ours was all brick, 3 beds(i added another big one), 2 bath, good schools, dead end street, big yard and we got it for 80. we have had to do a bunch of work to it but you can find the deal. you just have to look hard(dont depend on an agent, do a lot of looking yourself) and get a lucky break.
