WOAH!

I have never seen such a large amount of vomit come out of a kid at one time. That that's saying a lot, because both of my kids were projectile vomit champions when they were babies.Nope, Daniel just beat them all out tonight. This was wide, forceful, and long. Poor kid. I wonder how many more sick days he can take this year before they call the truant officer to my house? I'm sure if I took him to the doc tomorrow they would just say it's one of those 24 hour things, but I can't send him to school when he's been throwing up. Hmm...

I don't recall the last time my kids were this consistently sick. This has only been over the last couple of months. I'm starting to wonder if it's the apartment? I can't imagine that there would be anything wrong with the place. It's run by the city, so it should be all up to code, etc... Why are my kids sick so much?

I know that you mean. And why does vomit have to smell so bad. It is enough to make you sick when you are having to clean it up. Oh,BTW, Lucas is sick too. He did not want to eat breakfast(my first clue) Papa came to pick him up for school and they got as far as the high school over here close to my house, when Lucas said that he felt like he was going to be sick. He didn't actually get sick then, but about and 2 hours later, the evidence was clear. I am glad that I did not make him go to school anyway. I thought about it. You never know when kids will try to fake it, but usually Lucas is pretty good so that is not a huge concern, now Elena, she is "sick" everyday ;)

Awww, I am so sorry. :( I don't think it's ever crossed Daniel's mind to try to "fake it" yet. He may have tried it in Kindergarten, but wasn't very good at it, and found that it didn't work, so he quit trying. I can't remember. Oddly enough, when Daniel got sick last night, I didn't smell it, and while it was massive, it didn't gross me out too badly. It may be because of all the vomit I've had to clean in the last 2 months. I've become immune. (Of course the episode in your van was pretty bad - I had to drive from the school to your parents' house with the windows rolled up because it was too cold to have them down, all with milk vomit everywhere.) Anyway, hope Lucas is feeling better tomorrow.

I know, I almost couldn't believe it when I typed it, but I actually know the people that run the housing authority personally, and they are good people. I can't believe that they would cut corners intentionally to the detriment of the people living here. Also, I happen to know that they recently upgraded this whole apartment, so I know that most of the fixtures and cabinetry is new. I've heard that about mold. I wonder if I could request a mold test? I'll probably call the housing authority if my kids get sick again. I don't know the last time my kids were sick like this. It's starting to worry me.
