Oops!
I didn't realize until yesterday (I don't always get all of the scraps of paper sent home with Launa) that this week was mommy week at Launa's school and moms were invited to read to the class. Also today is a tea party, and all moms are supposed to bring their best dessert to share and then there will be a vote for best dessert at the end. I was supposed to send in my recipe by Wednesday because they were making books, but I didn't realize in time. Now I feel like scum because I'm going to be at the tea party, I'm going to win first place, and I won't have my recipe in the book. It was completely unintentional! Hopefully they won't hold it against me.

I do that kind of crap all the time. It gets worse as the kids get older. I hate it too. There's just so much to remember, I forget things all the time.
You'll just have to tell the other moms to visit your blog where they can read the recipe. Because you are gonna post your prize winning recipe for us, your friends, right?!
:)
echoing dana; RIGHT?!
our school sent home, yesterday, about eight different fliers that they were having a pto meeting at six thirty that evening that we MUST attend. they even stuck stickers on the kids. that was the first we had heard of it. so we are supposed to drop EVERYTHING and go to this pto meeting with less than three hours notice? um, sorry. i don't think so, lol!!
let us know how the tea party went!
Well, a gajillion people showed up. They were not expecting that many. And some other lady's banana pudding won. Oh well, there were so many people and not nearly enough cookies to go around. ;) (Okay, I brought one home.) The banana pudding was really good, and I ate all of mine. But my very favorite was a strawberry cream pie. I think it was Jell-o mix mixed with Cool Whip and real strawberries, but I don't know that for certain. Either way, it was so good that it made my brains fall out. Since my recipe didn't win, I guess I don't need to post it. ;)
oh yes you do, missy. cough up.
Liz, I'm pretty certain that if you wanted this recipe, you'd already have it. It's the homemade oreos.
nope, you always say you'll give it to me, and then we forget. ;)
LOL! In that case, I'll post it.
