Today

Today is get my house back under control day! I dread the amount of work this is going to take, but I will be so relieved when it's over. The reupholstery job has taken over my house, and I'm ready to take it back! Those of you who know me are likely to know that I am just not a tidy person by nature. I let piles of clutter grow on every surface. But this thing that has happened to my house is even more than I can bear.

Mess! You have been put on notice! I am coming for you! And my cleanliness will be complete!

You can do it! Go Mary! Go Mary!
I agree with Liz. Your dining room set and the memories created along with the new look are worth the effort you are now in the process of expending. Remember that when you feel weak and want to leave the last 1/2 sink of dirty dishes. <3

Uggh, I hate clutter. I will de-clutter before I will do any other cleaning. I will de-clutter even when there are big stains on the floor! I think that's why I like to get through projects (like this week I am making burp cloths and changing pads for the new baby, oh the sewing clutter!).

I know a lot of people that actually LIKE to de-clutter! I need to get about 12 of them over to my house for an afternoon and let them have at it, since it's painful for me. If I feed them dinner, maybe I can go watch a movie or something while they go after my junk! ;)

I hate those clean up days. Good job on your upholstery thing though. Mine's a couch and I haven't started yet. I told myself I wasn't allowed to start anything else until my stinking kitchen is done.
