Sweet Daniel
I send notes to school every day one Daniel's napkin in his lunch bag. Recently I have started finding these notes in the washer after they've gone through in his pockets. I suppose that means I need to start checking his pockets before I toss his jeans in the wash, but I'm afraid of what I might find. I'd rather find it AFTER it's been washed, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I think it's incredibly sweet that he's saving the notes I send to school with him. :)

what a sweetie pie! i totally miss havin' that kid around.
For some reason, I'm still shocked when my little boy does something sweet. Like, we have been brainwashed into thinking boys are mean nasty creatures that only plague their poor mothers ;)
LOL Timpani! I think it's because little boys just aren't as demonstrative as their female counterparts, so moms sometimes forget that they really do love us. Daniel has never made it point to show me that he saves my notes, I just find them after the fact. Which only adds to the sweetness of course, because he's not trying to earn brownie points, he's doing it because the notes must really mean something to him. And more often he's farting in my lap than being overly sweet to me these days! ;)
PS Liz, I like the new pic! Silly, but your hair looks AWESOME!!
lol! thanks mary!
Not to rain on any parades, but just thought I'd give this a quick guys perspecetive. :)
Perhaps he might be snatching them out of his lunchbag and sticking them in his pockets so his friends don't see them and make fun? :)
Doubt it, but gotta cover all the angles to think about. :D
If that were the case, then wouldn't he just leave the notes in the bottom of the bag instead of risking anyone seeing them by pulling them out? Nice try, but your rain cloud just doesn't hold any water.
