Daniel is not going to school today because he is el sicko grande. He has a tummy ache, and I believe him. So no I need to call the school and let them know he won't be in. :(
little update; erik has gone through about 15 diapers since this morning. not a happy tummy. not a super happy mommy either.
and yeah mary, we have power, but about nine inches of snow. and no sleds!! we are the worst parents ever! john is going to go on a mission to find some after work, and then take the kids sledding. he might stay home and play tomorrow too, if jonni has another snow day. snow is awesome! (to look at, and watch your kids play in. i will be the mommy who stays inside and makes everyone hot cocoa when they come in; john can take care of the actual getting wet and cold stuff. ick)
LOL! You don't need to be getting wet and cold right now anyway. Sorry Erik and Clayton are feeling poorly. I went to check on Daniel at about 8 this morning, and he said he was feeling better and wanted to get up. I told him that if he was feeling well enough to get up, then he was going to school. So he got up and got his clothes on, came downstairs, and promptly started throwing up. Dang it! With no time to make it back upstairs to the toilet, I told him to puke in the trash. That was lovely. He's feeling fine now though. He's eaten and is up playing with Launa now. School tomorrow!
Aww, I'm sorry about Erik. Daniel is better today. He said his stomach did start to hurt at one point today, but it didn't last long. Hope Erik feels better soon.
But for those of you that may be new to my blog, if you need to shut off the music for a minute, say to watch a video, or listen to another song that's on my blog, just scroll down to the bottom of the page, and my playlist is hanging out there.
Hello! My name is Mary, and I am the mastermind behind all this awesomeness! I am the mother of two middle - sized children, and the wife of one very handsome man. I like to crochet - it has gone from a sometime hobby to something of an obsession. Maybe I should be a little ashamed of my addiction, but I've decided to embrace it instead!
