I'm Sad

Today is a sad day. I just got back from my last day at my church. Now I get to go to my mom's house and see all my siblings for the last time before the move. I've already spent much of today crying. I don't see it getting much better.

i don't really hate you. i love you to bits. i'm just super duper sad you're leaving, just when i managed to move back. *sigh* when are you moving back, anyway? no more than three and half years! that's how long i was gone! so that's all you got missy. best get crackin' on a game plan for moving back. ;)

Why don't you staple bacon to your face and dress up like Shirley Temple and spank yourself with a hockey stick? It always makes me feel better!

My nasty-wasty son keeps licking me. He's almost as weird as John sometimes. I hate you too. You should have moved back sooner. I blame you for this. Anyway. Saturday is the big day, Thursday PM we're getting together with some friends and Friday the fam is coming over to help get the truck loaded. So that's it. There's still much to do, but it'll get done. Daniel needs to go to his friend's house a couple of times this week too.

Oh be sure to spit directly in Tanya's face for me when you leave!

Bless your heart! Moves are hard. I move a lot and it doesn't really get easier. Yet God has a plan and you're a part of it! And I'm sure it's a very good plan. :)

Still it helps to have a good cry and ice cream...

Love ya and I'll be praying for you!

I really would have thought moving gets easier the more you do it. This is my first (without my folks) time moving across the country. How often do you move DC? (You don't look very old...mid 20s? How often can you move in that space of time?)

Well moving gets easier in that I can organize & pack super fast!

However, I still get nervous about starting a new job, making new friends, etc... etc...

Of course, it's always sad to leave people I love. Yet the internet makes it easy to keep in touch.

Moving has always been a way of life for me. I went to five different grade schools before the third grade. Afterwards my parents got divorced & I spent my time living between Eastern & Western Kentucky. My parents also moved several times & so there were times I was moving two places at once. ha ha!

Then I joined the LDS Church and moved to Northern Utah. A year later I went on a mission. That required moving several times within that year and a half. After my mission I went back to Northern Utah and then moved to Southern Utah which is 6 1/2 hours away. I recently went home to Kentucky for six months and then moved back to Southern Utah. And I have a funny feeling that there are several mores moves in my future. :)

There ya have it!

Wow. Did I hear something about you being a Baptist missionary before you became LDS? Sounds like you never really had the chance to put roots down anywhere. That's kind of sad, but you are a super friendly person, and it seems as if you make friends pretty easily.
