Aye-aye-aye! -Or- Oh My Eyes!

My living room:

Pretty sure the fire marshal would be unhappy with this.

Did I mention that Jeremy's new job starts July 21?

That gives me about 13 days to get this done.

Blog...more fun than packing...can't step away!

Oh man! Last time we moved, we had NO KIDS and I still said NEVER AGAIN!!! I can't even imagine trying to do all that with two little ones underfoot.

Why would the fire marshal be unhappy? Cause you've got all those boxes in the same room as that RED HOT MAN?

Hey! How did your picture get flipped? Your bathroom's on the wrong side, and your television isn't on the same wall as the door...

It's still the same. It's a photograph tho, so the picture is from the perspective of my computer, it's just turned away from the tv instead of toward the tv like you're used to. So my computer is on the same wall as the front door, but on the opposite end.

Also, yes, that's exactly why the fire marshal would be unhappy! (Silly!)

Yeah, moving with little children is far less easy than moving with only adults. It's like the kids make it their mission to walk around behind you undoing everything you just did. Fun stuff. (Actually, they're not quite THAT bad.)

Hey there Meg,

As a wise and now a much older mama, may I suggest you do what I did. Get into Packing tape. NOW. The sooner the better. It is a good way to keep things that are already packed and not needed soon, out of sight and away from sticky fingers;)...Darling as those sticky little fingers are...

BETTER than packing tape....
SUPER GLUE! Takes care of packing and unpacking. Do the first... Forget the second.

Wait....
NO! you can't tape or glue the boxes shut with the kids folded neatly inside! Though come to think of it..... How else did the pioneers get all the way from the East to the West without packing tape and Super Glue?

Answer!!! In covered wagons of course!
